November brings a rich array of performances for Ascolta Artists, showcasing our singers and musicians in opera houses, concert halls, and festivals from Spain to Scandinavia.
In Germany, baritone Fabian Düberg continues his season as a member of the Theater Bremen ensemble, performing throughout the 2025/26 season from November through January. Meanwhile, tenor Jonah Spungin takes part in Landestheater Detmold’s productions of Die Zauberflöte, with performances beginning in November and continuing into the new year, including guest appearances in Leverkusen, Minden, and other cities.
In Estonia, Gabriele Mangione performs the demanding role of Calaf in Puccini’s Turandot at the Vanemuine Theatre in Tartu. His performances begin with a premiere on November 7.
Irina Ignata joins Vogtland Philharmonie and Oratorienchor Würzburg for the sacred repertoire – Verdi’s Requiem – as mezzo-soprano soloist, performing on November 8, while soprano Aistė Pilibaitė A few days later, soprano Aistė Pilibaitė appears at the National Theatre Brno in Dvořák’s Requiem, conducted on November 12 — a deeply moving work rooted in the Czech choral tradition.
Further south, Louise McClelland makes her debut with the Orquesta y Coro Nacionales de España, performing as soprano soloist in Franz Schmidt’s The Book of the Seven Seals under the baton of Fabio Luisi. Concerts take place on November 14, 15, and 16 in Madrid — a major event in the Spanish concert season.
In Oslo, mezzo-soprano Cecilia Lund Tomter continues her engagements with Den Norske Opera in Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte, performing as the Third Lady and Third Child. Her first performances of the run begin on November 21, with additional appearances and covers extending into January.
The month concludes with festive concerts in Denmark, where Christian Damsgaard performs in a series of Christmas programs with the Randers Chamber Orchestra, beginning November 25 and continuing through December. On November 30, baritone Frederik Rolin brings holiday cheer to audiences at Fuglsang Musikforening’s Julekoncert.
